Harder styles,
dialed in
by hand.
Hi, my name is Christian. I produce harder styles as Inspector Flatline, and I mix and master yours: kicks that keep their punch at club loudness, distortion that stays clean when it's pushed, and low end that holds up on a big system.
Raw mix vs. master.
The audio didn't load, so this plays a synthesized kick to show the idea. The numbers are measured on the real before/after files.
Measured on the drop, the loudest part. How loud a master goes is a creative choice.
The master’s peak ceiling, leaving 1 dB of headroom.
Peaks and average level pulled close together: the density of a club master.
How working with me goes.
One conversation with me, from the first message to the final file.
You tell me about the track
What it should feel like, what bugs you about it right now, and where it's going to be played. A link to the current version helps.
Pick one or two references
Tracks that already sound the way you want yours to. They give us a shared target for the kick, the screeches and the loudness, so we're not arguing about adjectives.
Test bounces and notes
I send a version, you check it on your speakers, headphones and in the car, and tell me what's off. We go back and forth until it's right.
You pay when you're happy
Previews are full quality. Once the track sounds the way you wanted, you pay, and I hand over the final files.
Mixing, mastering and sound design have no upfront payment. We keep working on the track until it's right, you hear full-quality previews along the way, and you only pay once you're satisfied.
What I do, and what it costs.
Not sure which one you need? Send it anyway; I'll tell you if it needs a mix or just a master.
Mix & Master
The full mix from your stems, then the master.
For when the track sounds right in your head but not on the speakers. You send stems; I build the mix: kick and bass locked together, screeches and leads with their own space, distortion loud without getting harsh. Then I master it.
Before you send your files.
Five things that save us a round of back-and-forth. Tick them off as you go.
Tip:Add a reference track in the booking form so the kick weight can be matched.
Questions before you book.
Once you're happy with the result. For mixing, mastering and sound design there's no upfront payment: you hear full-quality previews and revisions until the track sounds right, then you pay and I hand over the final files.
No. No AI mastering services, no auto-EQ, no preset chains. I mix and master every track myself, by ear, against your reference.
Because “more punch” means something different to everyone. One or two tracks that already sound the way you want give us a concrete target for the kick, the screeches and the loudness, and make the feedback rounds a lot quicker.
Mastering is 50 €, Mix & Master 100 €, and Mix, Master & Sound Design 200 €, per track. Full production works on a royalty split based on how much of the track I make, sometimes with an upfront fee that we agree on before starting.
As loud as you want it. In this genre loudness is mostly a creative choice: streaming platforms turn loud tracks down to about the same level anyway, so we set it by ear, using your reference track as the guide.
Frenchcore, Hardcore, Uptempo, Rawstyle, Hardstyle and Terror: the music I make myself. If your genre isn't my thing, I'll say so.
Tell me about your track.
